A Pumpkin Christmas

You may have noticed in recent months that I have a new obsession with all things pumpkin. I have decided to keep the tradition alive and go with something like this on my front porch:

Okay...maybe not. I changed the front porch out yesterday...what do you think? It needs something else...any suggestions? I will just kill poinsettias and I don't want to spend a ton of money.

I think it looks very nice like that! You could always make Michael put up some lights!:) Or maybe a Christmas/winter door mat.

You scared me with the pumpkins. Lowes had poinsettias for $1.00. AJ said they were very nice. If you kill them it's no big deal. Love the star thingy.

Manda, Thanks for a HUGE laugh...I think driver-bys would get a kick out of the santa hat. That said, I think the trees are cut but need something more (by the way--real poinsetta's won't work. They're definitely allergic to cold weather!) Now you could put silk poinsetta's interspersed in the trees and it would look good. Or red, unbreakable ornaments? Or, white lights if you have access to electric?
