Texas Recap

May 2012 looks a lot different than originally anticipated, but I am loving it! In an effort to remember it all, I am going to go back and fill in some of the gaps. As I have written about before, Max and I visited Texas the first week of May. We had a great time visiting with both sides of our family, celebrating my mom's birthday, celebrating a family wedding, and just hanging out. Little did I know it would be the last time I would road trip to Texas as a mommy of one!
Trips to Target are a must!
This photo has been edited to make it suitable for public consumption. It's cute, but the original is HILARIOUS.
Build a Bear. His bear has about 4,563 hearts.
More hearts.
So excited.
Ditto.

Mr. Ben

  Meet our new son.
Benjamin Marshall
Born May 11th
He's pretty cute, huh?

Surprised?
We were, too.
Max and I spent the first week of May in Texas.
We officially went up on the list to be chosen by birth mothers that week.
On the way home from Texas last week I got a call...yes, that was fast!
The baby was due Friday...what? Do you know my need to be organized and on top of things?
God had other plans for sure!
So we got ready and drove to Louisiana to meet our baby.
And we did.

Summer Debut

One of the reason's I am here in Texas is for a Thirty-One party at my mom's house. I am pretty pumped about it, because the new catalog came out yesterday. And I am a sucker for a new pattern. It just makes me happy!

Minty Chip is my new favorite. It's so cute, and it goes with a lot of the other patterns.

The new Spirit Collection is going to be so fun! They are solid colored bags that you can personalize to cheer on your favorite team. I may have already ordered one to cheer on the Rangers this season...

This is the other new pattern, Black Happy Dot. I'm pretty happy about this one too!

(PS: The Thirty-One link above is to my personal consultant website, not the Thirty-One corporate site.)
