Dessert Time

I am on day 23 of the Advocare 24 day challenge (more on that in a post coming soon). That means I haven't had coffee, sweets, or many processed foods in the past three weeks. It's been great, but I'm not going to lie. I am going to wake up Wednesday morning and have a cup of coffee. Then I'm going to eat something that involves chocolate. I don't plan on going crazy, but Amanda cannot live on lettuce and chicken alone forever.

In an effort to torture myself, apparently, I have been drawn to all things good and dessertish on Pinterest the past couple of days. I'm pretty sure I'll be making one (or all) of these after tomorrow. But if I do I promise to just eat one and give the rest away! Maybe...

(Just for the record, looking at the desserts is like therapy that keeps me from actually eating them. At least that's what I tell myself...ha!)

Silly Valentine

All of the cute ideas on Pinterest this year inspired me to think a little outside the box when it came to valentines. I put these together for a couple of friends..so simple. I'm pretty sure that a cute saying, a printer, and some double-sided tape can turn anything into a fun little present.

I am no stranger to pigs in a blanket, and I have been known to stuff crescents with chocolate chips every now and then. But Pinterest has opened up a whole new world of crescent goodness.

Polka Dot Pumpkins

It's fall ya'll! Every year, I decide I love fall a little bit more, and I am so excited that it is here. The weather, the fun activities, the yummy coffee (salted caramel mocha...holla), and of course, the pumpkins!

Thanks to Pinterest I have lots of fun new fall projects and ideas to try, and today I got one marked off the list. It was super easy, and I think it turned out pretty fun.
