I did figure I needed to celebrate in style, so in true blog fashion I am hosting my first giveaway! Why, do you ask? Because all the cool kids do it. And I have always thought it would be fun to do one. And my blog is old now and it can do whatever it wants.
So without further ado...I present the Amanda's Favorite Things Giveaway!
1. Wooden Hope Sign...I love me some wooden signs. They can be hung on the wall, they can sit on an easel, they even look good leaned up against a wall...the possibilities are endless.
2. Pride and Prejudice DVD...Best movie ever. Enough said. Watch it yourself and find out.
3. Books...How can a librarian have a favorite things list and not put books on it? These are two of my favorite authors.
4. Reusable Shopping Bag...Because there really isn't any excuse not to use them. Unless you forget them in your car...again (not that that ever happens to me).
4. Spring Sign...It's green (fave color), glittery (love it!), and it is a seasonal decoration (obsessed!).

When I go grocery shopping I carefully carry out my reusable bags and put them in the trunk. I am usually at the checkout counter when I suddenly hit myself and say
"Forgot the bags in the trunk." If I were not so lazy I would fetch them but I can't hold up the line. I hate using the plastic bags because I have resolved to lighten my carbon footprint. Today I not only forgot the bags but also my list. At least it was sunny. :)

I know this is your blog, but why doesn't Mike give something away? It is the McLife Blog. You know, something for the male reader...not to say that I wouldn't love a glittery spring sign or a slightly used shopping bag. But what about some old baseball cards or some nerdy computer stuff? I'm not saying that your stuff is sub par I'm just saying that would be some cool man stuff.
