Ben at 1 Month

Ben,
On June 11 you turned ONE month old! We celebrated with a trip to the beach. I know not a lot of newborns go on vacation their first month, but you like to live life on the edge. You are the sweetest, best baby, and we are so very thankful God chose us to be your parents. You have fit right into our little family, and we are having so much fun.

Here are a few things about you at one month old:

-You are a fan of the being held. You will sit on your own for awhile, but then you are done. DONE. 

-You have a "grumpy" face that you give me when I am annoying you (ie: making you take a bath, get in your car seat, and generally doing anything that doesn't have to do with you eating or sleeping).

-You are weigh 10 pounds 1 ounce, and you are in the 50th percentile. You started out in the 25th, so you are moving on up! You are 21 3/4 inches long.

 -You are eating 4 ounces at a time. 

-Everyone who sees you in real life is surprised at how small you are. Those chunky cheeks of yours make you look bigger than you really are! 

-You are loving your pacifier, but you are also getting better every day at finding your thumb. You may just end up being a thumb sucker.

-You have been to four states in your first month. You beat your brother...he had only been to three by the time he was a month old. Way to be an over achiever!
