Over Spring Break, we took a McDonough trip to see our fabulous Texas Rangers at their spring training complex in Surprise, AZ. Now, ya'll. I'm not going to lie. I was super nervous about this trip. Taking an 18-month-old to a hotel and baseball games didn't exactly scream "vacation" to me. And when our flight got cancelled the first day and we ended up on planes and in airports for 12 hours, it wasn't looking pretty. BUT...I have to say that it was SO much fun and Max did so great! I am so happy that we had the chance to go hang out with family and spend some time checking out the guys. (That didn't come out right, but you know what I mean. I hope.)
Here are a few pictures from our days at the ball fields. Max loved hanging out with Aunt Amy and Papa, running around in the grass, and playing. Drinking Aunt Amy's frozen sweet tea may have been the highlight of his trip...maybe his life!

This is where he took his naps. Behind the seats at the game. He was out!
Yes. This happened. My brother made me this to commemorate the occasion, but I didn't buy a new shirt. Baby wipes work wonders.
