On Christmas Eve we headed to Texas with Mimi and Aunt Hailey in tow.
Ben was a little sick at the time, but we had no idea that it would end up being a week full of really sick kiddos and a whole lot of crying. Such is life, right?
We started off the week with Papa and Aunt Amy.
As soon as Max got there and saw the presents waiting he was ready for action!
Addie wanted to open presents too!
Max just dives right into unwrapping.
Ben takes off one tiny piece at a time.
And sets it to the side.
It takes forever.
Emmie just hung out.

On Christmas Day Ben woke up from nap sounding worse than ever, super congested, and with a temp of nearly 104. So off to the ER we went. He got breathing treatments, steroids...and a popsicle to make everything better.
We didn't get to do as much as we would have liked because of all the sickness, but the boys did enjoy Build a Bear with their Aunt Amy. They are big fans of Super Bunny and Spider Bear.
