The Girls' First Bath

When I got all the pictures off of my mom's camera, I realized that the pictures of the girls' first baths were on there. I'm glad I found them. Better late than never I say. It's fun to look at these, because even though it wasn't very long ago it makes me realize how much they have already grown. Did I say fun? I meant horribly sad...and fun.

Way Back in 2012

Way back in 2012 my mom took a bunch of pictures.

Yesterday I finally got them off of her camera and put them on my computer.

It's like a blog flashback.

In January 2012 my mom, sister, and I went on a cruise. It was so much fun! Little did I know that I would have three more children in the next 16 months. I may have savored it a little more. No more girls trips for awhile, I'm sure.

In May 2012 we headed to Louisiana to pick up our second son, Ben. Since we had to stay in the state for 2 weeks our "coming home" pictures occurred in a trailer park near Baton Rouge...

In June 2012 we headed to the beach with my family. Max got to do a lot of things he doesn't really get to do at home.

In August 2012 my brother graduated from the University of North Texas.

The Blue Car

It was a few months ago when Max spotted these shopping carts outside of Kroger. I don't know how since they are kind of hidden, but he was all over it. We had never actually used one, though, until last week. The minute we got into the parking lot Max started talking about the "blue car." I thought he meant an actual blue car until we got out and started walking to the store! Both boys were big fans of the blue car, although Ben moved up to the top of the cart with me about halfway through the store. It's a lot easier to grab stuff on the shelves from down there, and he was a lot more interested in his brother's steering wheel than his own. Ha! Max was not happy when we got in the car to go home. You would have thought we were leaving Disney World, but I promised him we would be back to see the blue car again soon!
