Sometimes you feel like a bounce.

And sometimes you don't. 

 

Max at Four Months...or Not

 

As soon as I took the sticker off of Ben, Max wanted it. He put it on, sat down, and smiled. Ha!

Ben at Four Months

 

Ben, On September 11th you turned 4 months old! Yes...your mom is a little behind, but she'll catch up next month! This month you are getting more active. You like to play in the exersaucer, and you get bored if you sit still too long. I got out the door jumper the other day, and you went to town!

-You weigh 14 lbs 10 ounces, and you are 25.5 inches long.

-You wear some 3 month clothing, but you are rapidly moving up to 6 months. All the pants your brother wore are too short for you. I think you are going to outgrow him in no time!

-You usually take 3 or 4 naps a day. You stay up for about 2 hours at a time during the day, but you are really starting to stretch that out in the evening.

-You have started reaching for things in front of you. Toys, phones, fingers. Whatever you can get.

-You are a drool machine!

-You have been sick lately, which has messed with your sleep. But most days you still sleep pretty well. And every once in awhile you sleep past 8:00. You started getting up at 4:30 in the morning for a bottle again, but I bumped up your formula and now you're good. You were just hungry!

-We love you so much!

 

Books!

Max had his first book fair at school this week. You know they were laughing at me for taking pictures, but it made this mom's heart happy. Max thought it was so fun to pick a book and sit and read with Daddy. He went home with a choo choo book, but I'm not going to lie. I went home with a couple cute books too. I just can't help myself!

Okay...I am moving on from Max's birthday party. I promise. But before I do, I have to give credit where credit is due. And some of the three of you that read this blog may wonder where I got some of the decor from. So, here you go...

Max's adorable shirt is from my sweet friend Jenn at Miss Lulu's. 

She is on maternity leave right now, but she makes adorable things.

I got the invitations and a lot of the party decor from Amanda's Parties to Go.

I bought the digital files from her and had them printed on glossy cardstock at the UPS store.

Last year, I created all the toppers and decor myself, but I loved her stuff!

I got this fun vinyl banner at Personalization Mall. It's totally going up every year until he's 16 and hides it from me. I got the idea from Shannon at Bless our Nest.

That's about it. The rest was from Target, Party City, and my laundry room.

Most of the ideas were from Pinterest and the good ol' Internets.
