Going on a Bear Hunt

My parents have been in town since we got back from Texas, and to celebrate their last full day here with us we took a trip to the zoo. Let me just say, early Friday mornings are perfect for the zoo. The weather was great, there were very few people around, and we basically had the place to ourselves. I don't know about you, but I know I've always had a dream that one day I would have my own personal zoo. Okay...not really. But I did used to dream about what it would be like to live in a mall. Each family member got their own department store to live in, the food court was open 24/7, and of course nobody ever had to wear the same thing twice.

I digress.

The best part of the zoo today was hanging out with the grizzly bears. There was one bear in particular that entertained us by taking running jumps into the water, and he got up close and personal with us at the window. While Max was much more interested in eating cereal off his tray than most of the zoo, he did like that bear. And the carousel. Bears and spinning. He knows how to party.
